When a friendship in college turns into I love you post grad - she knew she didn’t want to share him with anyone else. The type of love story we all could listen to again and again.
Our first meeting was centered around the thought of a greenhouse wedding surrounded by nature and open fields of land. This amazing couple thought Santa Barbara would be a good place to start being from Los Angeles. Until I warmed them up to the idea of the Central Coast. Unbeknownst to us, the venue they fell in love with was building a brand new greenhouse just in time for their preferred wedding date. It was immediately decided that Riata Ranch was going to be where they would be married. Tucked into the hills of Santa Margarita, surrounded by vineyards and the golden hills of the central coast, an absolute gem of a place- so serene and lovely!
A Central Coast Wedding at Riata Ranch
In Santa Margarita
Where tradition meets modernism.
What makes a wedding day so special has so much to do with the personal touches and the space that holds us all. Riata Ranch was manicured to perfection & the space was enhanced with the most thoughtful details. The venue was intentionally designed for guests to wander, take in the beautiful views yet feel a sense of intimacy. Upon arrival guests walked through beautiful archways, passed a fountain of vibrant florals and were greeted with a welcome drink at the bar under the most magnificent willow tree.
Jay from Frugal and Forged created a vision of florals that meant so much to our couple. The art installation revealed the importance of tradition for the Grooms family. Garland flowers are a symbol of love, respect, purity & devotion. They define the meaning of celebration!
Post Ceremony guests enjoyed the Indian cuisine, oyster bar and a full bar!
The grand space inside the greenhouse is an absolute work of art. The most wonderful space for their guests. The couple had their hearts set on a tablescape that was minimal yet inviting. The groom liked vintage elements and pops of color, while the bride preferred a more modern touch - a perfect blend that made the space feel so special. The bride designed the artwork for the paper goods & concept for the seating chart.
Dinner went into dessert, which lead into a night of dancing!
Thank you L & A, we loved working with you and we wish you a lifetime of happiness together!
